My Story
Growing up, I was very skinny. It was something I was very self-conscious about, and every time someone mentioned how skinny I was, I remembered it. I really didn't like it. This continued until I got to high school. The summer between sophomore and junior year, I got into lifting weights. Initially, I didn't really know what I was doing. In fact, I don't think I worked out my legs for the first two years. But eventually, I made progress. People could see that I was working out. My arms had gotten bigger, and my chest had become more full. From then on, the confidence I gained in myself transformed who I was. I knew how important fitness and exercising were in bettering my life, and I wanted to bring that to others.

My mission is to create confidence in how you look and how you feel about yourself. Whether it's building muscle, losing fat, or trying to fit into a shirt you used to love wearing, we all have an idea about how we look. Weight training is a big part of any fitness goal, in my opinion. If you want to build muscle, it is the fastest way to do so. If you want to lose weight, it helps improve your metabolic rate as well as burn calories. Lifting also gives you something to chase; it keeps you motivated to beat your numbers and the logbook. It's also incredibly safe if done correctly with good technique and effort.

My clients know that I can get the best out of them. They also know that I'm very particular about how movements are done. Not everybody is going to move the same way, but a lot of the same principles are going to apply regardless of who you are and how you move. I want you to have perfect technique for you every single time you lift a weight. Not only is it going to keep you safe, but it's also going to give you the best way to stimulate the muscles we want and get you to your goal as fast as possible. I love motivating people, seeing progress, and documenting it. I love accompanying people as they make significant changes in their bodies and confidence. Building a physique that you're proud of is more than just surface level, and for that reason, I've been a trainer for over 10 years.

I started Prime Forge Fitness to create a hub of information for people to learn how to lift correctly, eat correctly, and navigate their fitness journey through plateaus and when motivation is lacking.
